I am Black Wolves Academy & Foundation, a dream that was born 8 years ago in Cabarete when our community had no basketball team. What started as a small, free effort to train young athletes has grown into a movement that now drives three disciplines: basketball, female volleyball, and soccer.

My purpose is simple: to give children and teenagers a safe place to grow, learn, and compete—keeping them away from the streets and closer to a future full of opportunities. More than 120 young people are part of my story, and with them we have represented our district in provincial and regional tournaments, earning visibility and respect in the local sports scene.

I am not a for-profit institution. I survive thanks to the faith of those who believe in sports as a tool for social change and the voluntary effort of my founders. Still, my challenges are many: equipment, transportation, uniforms, food, and a dignified training space.

My goal is clear: to become a refuge for children and youth, a full sports center that develops athletes but, above all, shapes individuals with values. I dream of having my own Club House, traveling the country with my teams, and never again rejecting an invitation due to lack of resources.

I am more than an academy: I am a family, a life project, a source of hope for many young people who today find in me the place they once lacked. And although I have come far, I need your support to keep growing.

Because every ball, every uniform, every contribution means much more than sports: it means future.

About Us

We are Black Wolves Academy & Foundation, a dream that began eight years ago with a basketball and a group of young people hungry for opportunities. We were born because there was no team in our community, and since then, we've grown to become Cabarete's number one sports academy.

Basketball was our foundation: with open courts, free training, and a lot of effort, we formed the first teams. Through it, we taught discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

Then came the turn of women's volleyball, a voice our girls had been desperately seeking. After years of searching for a way, we managed to open this space, and today they train, compete, and become role models for improvement in the community.

In the short time we’ve been running our volleyball academy, we have constantly sought ways to help our girls reach the highest competitive level as quickly as possible. To achieve this, we have arranged numerous exchange games with academies that have greater experience and stronger foundations in the sport. Far from being a disadvantage, this experience has become a great source of inspiration: our young athletes are motivated each day to progress faster than expected, while always maintaining healthy competitiveness and a continuous learning process.

We also did everything possible to adapt soccer into our academy. Many young people are looking for different sports options, and this sport is a necessity in every community. We want to introduce soccer to children from the age of 8 and up, so that the sports culture continues to grow and becomes a common practice in our district.
